Home Safety Policy

Safety Policy

Asset Management Inspection Services will abide by the safety, health environment and quality policy of this manual. 

This health, safety, environment and quality policy is as follows:

 

Management of Asset Management Inspection Services strive to conduct activities in a work environment that achieves the following:

(a)       Protects the safety and health of all people affected by our workplace activities;

(b)       Actively encourages minimising risk in working practices, both at work and off the job;

(c)       Protects the community and the environment; and

(d)       Provides quality products and services which meet the needs of the customers of Asset Management Inspection Services

 

Asset Management Inspection Services Management will devote sufficient resources to achieve these goals.

 

To achieve a healthy, low risk and quality working environment, commitment and co-operation of all workers is essential.

 

 In support of this policy, Asset Management Inspection Services commits to:

 

(a)       Comply with, or exceed the spirit and intent of relevant legislation and statutory requirements, Codes of Practice, environmental guidelines and industry standards and allow adequate provision of resources to meet these requirements;

(b)       Promote safety, health, environmental and quality awareness in the development of standard work practices;

(c)       Undertake a risk management approach to hazards in our workplace and worksites;

(d)       Provide information, training and instruction to enable all workers to allow them to perform their duties effectively;

(e)       Involve all workers in workplace safety, health, environmental and quality matters and discuss with them ways to reduce workplace hazards and improve control systems through continuous monthly tool box meetings ;

(f)        Maintain effective hazard, incident and non-conformance reporting and analysis; and

(g)       Set safety, health, environmental and quality objectives and regularly review performance as part of a continuous improvement action plan.

 

 In pursuit of these goals all Asset Management Inspection Services employees are required to:

 

(a)       Comply with all relevant statutory requirements, standard work procedures, Australian standards and standards of Asset Management Inspection Services and where applicable, use provided resources to meet these requirements;

(b)       Report all injuries, incidents and where appropriate, rectify hazards and faults;

(c)       Participate in risk management analysis of any incidents and non-conformance to Asset Management Inspection Services policies or procedures; and

(d)       Protect all workers, the community and the environment that may be affected by our activities.

 

No task will be undertaken if health, safety, environment and quality standards will be compromised.
